I would really enjoy owning this cookbook. I particularly like the focus on women in the bible. I think our daughters (and sons) should appreciate the contribution that women make. I am also a vegetarian and would love to try new recipes
I am interested in reading this cookbook because I am a recent "Jew by Choice" ( I converted to Judaism last Spring) and am also a vegetarian. Plant based eating and learning more about Judaism are two things that are very important to me.
Ever since I tested a recipe for you, I've been looking forward to reading your next book (and testing more!). As with the previous commenter, I am also a Jewish healer.
For me, I love connecting my Jewish heritage, and food, in a meaningful way that taps into the women and history of our culture. A book that not only provides a way to create Jewish ethnic food connected to a rich breadth of learning is a source that enables me create a deeper connection in a modality that already brings me a rich peacefulness - making food. I am always looking for ways to make delicious meals beyond bagels and brisket, and it seems that this book will facilitate this desire even further. I already have Feeding Women of the Bible and I look forward to using this book as well. It would be a tremendous gift.
This wonderful and meaningful cookbook is a real treasure. I would consider it a beautiful book which contains delectable recipes, exceptional messages and a creative and spiritual experience. I would cherish this cookbook and cook for the family who would appreciate and savor every meal.
I have enjoyed your previous book and like reading the stories that have been shared. Cookbooks like these share our past and give us a roadmap to our future
I'm excited to read your new book! I've enjoyed your newsletter and the stories and recipes you've shared. Connecting food with our stories is so meaningful to me. There is a beautiful spiritual experience that comes with preparing food that has been imbued with meaning through the story that comes with it - I feel that once they are paired, they are never separated in our minds. And so, we are fed physically, and culturally, and spiritually.
It's challenging to find good Jewish cookbooks (or ANY Jewish cookbooks!) where I live... the idea of a book that is so intrinsically Jewish is incredibly appealing to me - and what a great way to encourage the sharing of our tradition not just with fellow Jews, but with others I love who aren't Jewish! What a gorgeous looking book!
I have been making an effort over the last several years to learn more about and connect with my culture and community, especially other women. I think food is such a perfect medium to do this. I look forward to making the recipes and reading the stories from the women that contributed to this book.
Usually "vegan" is a cookbook niche in its own right. To have a vegan cookbook with a further story of its own really excites me. To be able to buy a "story" cookbook and not need to filter out the meat recipes is not something that happens very often.
When I found your newsletter I was so excited. And then to discover you have a book coming out. My grandmother is a Survivor, and I have in more recent years been finding ways to connect with that part of my family history. She doesn't really talk about it.
Food has always been central to my family life and the idea of your book truly excited me. Can't wait to read it!
Very excited about this collection of recipes in response to text. Ordering now for all members of our Shabbat dinner group. We gather once every 4-6 weeks in each other’s homes over pot luck Shabbat celebration. This will be a great surprise next time we gather. Kol
HaKabod, kenden, and all who participated in this meaningful effort!

This book sounds like it has everything.

Sounds just perfect!
I enjoy reading stories about women and how they cope with the struggles in their lives especially through the use of food.
