Today I am sharing an art print for Psalm 121.
About the psalms
Psalm 121 (JPS 2023) // Sefaria
A song for ascents.
I turn my eyes to the mountains;
from where will my help come?
My help comes from GOD,
maker of heaven and earth.
[God] will not let your foot give way;
your guardian will not slumber.
See, the guardian of Israel
neither slumbers nor sleeps!
GOD is your guardian,
GOD is your protection
at your right hand.
By day the sun will not strike you,
nor the moon by night.
GOD will guard you from all harm,
and will guard your life.
GOD will guard your going and coming
now and forever.
I made this because I love the emotional and poetic clarity of the language. The imagery of the mountains, God as watchful keeper, and the sun and moon, together with the psalm’s clear, repeated assurances of divine protection, give it immediacy and comfort.
A simple two-column print of Psalm 121 in Hebrew and English. A soft, textured background sits behind clean, centered type with a small sun-and-moon emblem above the title. The Hebrew and English lines are aligned in narrow columns for a calm, vertical layout. Neutral, muted colors and minimal typography give the piece a quiet, grounded, slightly airy feel—perfect for display at home or in a synagogue.
I pour my heart into these prints and hope this one honors this psalm that has meant so much to our community for generations. Let me know what you think of the Psalm 121 art print in the comments below.
